Anti-Abuse Policy

Effective date: 16 August 2026

This Anti-Abuse Policy protects people who use Swaymoon Report a Problem (the “Portal” or “Service”, at reportaproblem.swaymoon.com), the staff who handle reports, and the availability of the Service. It supplements the Portal Terms of Use. If the two differ, the stricter rule on abuse applies. The Swaymoon Account Anti-Abuse Policy also applies where relevant; the stricter rule wins.

Before you submit a report, you must read and agree to this Policy, the Portal Terms of Use, and the Privacy Policy.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to everyone who uses the Portal: submitting reports, adding messages, uploading files, opening confirmation links in mail, and calling Portal interfaces or infrastructure.

2. Prohibited abuse

Without written permission from Swaymoon, you must not do or help others do the following.

2.1 False, repeated, or disruptive filings

  • Invent facts, make false accusations, or file content that clearly does not match the product or type you chose
  • Submit the same matter over and over in bad faith, bypass the daily cap, or split a cap across accounts
  • Use the Portal for junk unrelated to handling, or disrupt the queue

2.2 Identity and contact abuse

  • File a report with someone else’s Account or email
  • Give an address that cannot receive mail, or that is meant to mislead, so we cannot notify or verify
  • Trick others into opening a fake Portal or confirmation link

2.3 Content and attachment abuse

  • Put passwords, codes, passkeys, client_secret, or other secrets in text or files, or ask others for them
  • Upload files unrelated to the issue, or files that contain malware or unlawful material
  • Upload material that infringes others’ IP, privacy, or other lawful interests
  • Use messages or files to harass, threaten, or insult anyone

2.4 Technical and security abuse

  • Try to reach another person’s reports, admin tools, or system interfaces without authorization
  • Scan, penetrate, load-test, or deny service to the Portal, its APIs, or infrastructure (except security tests we have authorized in writing)
  • Tamper with requests, spoof a client, or abuse rate limits
  • Break or bulk-probe confirmation links in mail

2.5 Other unlawful or harmful acts

  • Endanger national or public safety, or harm minors
  • Money laundering, gambling, trade in prohibited goods, or helping those activities
  • Anything we reasonably believe creates a serious risk to people, the Service, or third parties

3. Detection and investigation

We may detect abuse with the daily cap, file-type checks, log review, user reports, and other risk controls. To investigate, we may, as the law allows, limit submissions, ask for more detail, or pause use of the Portal.

You agree to cooperate with a reasonable investigation. If you refuse and the risk is serious, we may go straight to the measures in section 4.

4. Measures

If abuse is confirmed or we have reasonable grounds to believe it exists, we may take one or more of these steps:

  • Warn you, or require you to delete content or stop the conduct
  • Close related reports and refuse further messages
  • Limit or pause new submissions
  • Restrict sign-in or end your use of the Portal
  • Apply measures in the Swaymoon Account Anti-Abuse Policy
  • Report to authorities, or preserve and disclose information as the law requires
  • Pursue civil, administrative, or criminal liability

In an emergency (such as an ongoing attack or fraud), we may apply a temporary limit before notice, then tell you within a reasonable time, unless the law says otherwise or notice would hinder the response.

5. Appeals

If you think a measure was wrong, write through the Portal or email hello@swaymoon.com within a reasonable time after notice. Include your account identifier, report ID, times, reasons, and verifiable material. We will review promptly. For severe or repeated abuse, we may not restore Portal access.

6. Updates

We may update this Policy and publish it in Docs. Continued use means you know and accept the updated rules, except where the law requires a fresh consent. We will ask you to confirm agreement again when you submit a new report.

7. Contact

Questions, reports, or appeals about this Policy: use Report a Problem or email hello@swaymoon.com. See Contact Swaymoon for more ways to reach us.
