Subscribe and unsubscribe
Status can email you when incidents are published or updated. Mail is sent from status@mail.swaymoon.com, usually with the display name “Swaymoon Status”.
Turn on subscription
- Open status.swaymoon.com and, in Subscribe to updates, sign in with Swaymoon Account.
- Authorization will request email, name, and similar scopes; if Swaymoon Account supports it, you can choose Hide My Email on the consent screen.
- After sign-in, turn on Receive incident and maintenance notices.
- You will get a confirmation email naming the address that will receive notices.
Subscription state is stored on the Status service and linked to your Swaymoon Account identity. Notices go to the email you authorized or that the account provides.
What mail contains
- Confirmation when you turn subscription on.
- Notices for new incidents and incident updates (including probe auto-open and recovery).
- When there is an issue, HTML mail includes an access-path diagram aligned with the detail page, plus links to view the path and incident details.
- Plain-text clients can read the matching plain-text body.
The footer provides View status and Unsubscribe links.
Unsubscribe
Do either of the following:
- Sign in on the status page and turn off Receive incident and maintenance notices.
- Click Unsubscribe in any notice email (no need to sign in again).
After you unsubscribe, incident and maintenance notices stop; you can turn subscription back on anytime.
Notes
- Status mail does not handle tickets; for human handling use Report a Problem.
- Do not send passwords, verification codes, or secrets to any status-related mailbox.
- Delivery depends on the address you provide and your mail provider; if mail is missing due to filtering or a bad address, check spam first or change to a reachable address and turn subscription on again.
