Where Swaymoon uses Baidu

Baidu's General Translation API is used by Swaymoon Admin and Survey to translate administrator-configured natural-language questionnaire and documentation fields at runtime.

Data and purpose

Only eligible natural-language text is sent for translation. URLs, passwords, regular expressions, numeric and date constraints, file types, and internal identifiers are excluded. If translation fails, Swaymoon keeps the original text so a respondent can continue.

Swaymoon boundary

Translation credentials are runtime environment variables only. They are never written to source code, Git, browser code, or logs. Review Baidu's current service documentation for applicable terms.
