Anti-Abuse Policy

Effective date: 17 August 2026

This Anti-Abuse Policy protects the safety and availability of users and of Swaymoon Status (the “Service”, at status.swaymoon.com). It supplements the Service’s Terms of Use. If the two differ, the stricter rule on abuse applies. Account-side rules are in the Swaymoon Account Anti-Abuse Policy; when both apply, the stricter rule wins.

By using the Service or turning on subscription, you confirm that you have read and agree to this Policy, the Service’s Terms of Use, and the Privacy Policy.

1. Scope

Applies to all individuals and organizations that visit the status page, call related APIs, open or manage a subscription, or click an unsubscribe link in mail.

2. Prohibited abuse

Without Swaymoon’s written permission, you must not do or help others do any of the following:

2.1 Subscription and identity abuse

  • Open or close a subscription by impersonating another person’s Swaymoon Account
  • Deliberately provide an unreachable or misleading mailbox to interfere with notices
  • Induce others to click a fake status page or unsubscribe link

2.2 Technical and security abuse

  • Attempt unauthorized access to another person’s subscription data, admin features, or system APIs
  • Scan, penetrate, stress-test, or deny service against the Service, APIs, or infrastructure (except security testing with our written authorization)
  • Interfere with or tamper with requests, forge clients, or abuse rate limits
  • Bulk-probe unsubscribe tokens or other credentials

2.3 Content and information abuse

  • Use probe results from the status page or mail for fraud, threats, or to mislead the public
  • Forge “official status notices” or impersonate status@mail.swaymoon.com as sender
  • Spread spam unrelated to the Service

2.4 Other unlawful or harmful conduct

  • Endanger national security or public safety, or harm the rights of minors
  • Any conduct we reasonably believe creates material risk to users, the Service, or third parties

3. Detection and investigation

We may identify abuse using access logs, subscription behavior, risk controls, user reports, and similar means. To investigate suspicious activity, we may, within the law, restrict access, ask for explanation, or temporarily suspend a subscription.

4. Measures

If abuse is confirmed or we have reasonable grounds to believe it exists, we may, as appropriate, warn, close subscriptions, restrict access, restrict related Swaymoon Account capabilities, and reserve the right to pursue liability under law.

5. Reporting abuse

If you find fake status notices, suspicious links, or attacks on the Service, submit via Report a Problem choosing Report abuse or a security issue, or email hello@swaymoon.com. Do not attach passwords or verification codes to email.

6. Changes to this Policy

We may revise this Policy and publish it in Docs. Continued use of the Service means you accept the revised Policy.
