Terms of Use
Effective date: 17 August 2026
Welcome to Swaymoon Status (the “Service”, at status.swaymoon.com). These Terms are the agreement between you and Swaymoon (“we”) about using the Service. By using the Service you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Anti-Abuse Policy. If you do not agree, do not continue to use the Service or turn on subscription.
Email notices require sign-in with Swaymoon Account. Registration, sign-in, and security for the Account itself are covered by the Swaymoon Account Terms of Use. These Terms cover only the extra rules for Status.
1. The Service
The Service is for:
- Publishing an operational overview of first-party sites and related services, incidents, and scheduled maintenance
- Showing access-path probe results (reachability of edge and origin)
- After you turn on subscription, sending incident and maintenance notices to an email within your authorized scopes
The Service is not Report a Problem or a support ticket system, and it does not process refunds. For human handling, use Report a Problem.
We may improve, adjust, or discontinue some features. For changes that have a material impact on you, we will give notice in a reasonable way.
2. Account and subscription
- To turn on email subscription you must use a Swaymoon Account under your lawful control and complete authorization (usually including email, name, and similar scopes).
- You must keep the notice mailbox true and valid, and check it in time. Delays from a wrong address, unread mail, or filtering are yours to bear.
- You must not open or manage a subscription by impersonating another person’s account.
- You may turn off subscription in the Service at any time, or unsubscribe via the link in mail.
3. Acceptable use
When using the Service you must not:
- Interfere with, scrape, or load-test the Service’s APIs, pages, or infrastructure (except security testing with our written authorization)
- Tamper with requests, forge clients, or attempt to access another person’s subscription data or admin features
- Use the subscription mechanism to send spam or engage in unlawful activity
- Use probe results shown by the Service to mislead third parties, or as a basis to attack a specific person or organization
4. Nature of status information
- Information on the status page and in mail is for transparency. It may include automatic probe results and human-posted content.
- We work to keep information timely and accurate, but we do not guarantee zero delay, zero false reports, or coverage of every user path.
- The access-path diagram is illustrative and a probe snapshot. It is not a guarantee of reachability on your local network.
5. Notice email
Subscription notices are sent from status@mail.swaymoon.com. Mail may include an incident summary, links, and an access-path diagram. Mail does not attach files unrelated to your account, and it does not handle ticket correspondence.
6. Handling of violations
We may restrict access, close subscriptions, restrict sign-in, and take other measures against conduct that violates these Terms or the Service’s Anti-Abuse Policy, and we reserve the right to pursue liability under law. Serious cases may also be covered by the Swaymoon Account Anti-Abuse Policy.
7. Changes, interruption, and termination
We work to keep the Service stable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, upgrades, force majeure, third-party failures, or legal requirements may interrupt, delay, or change the Service. You may stop using the Service; consequences related to Account deletion follow the Swaymoon Account Privacy Policy and in-product notices.
8. Intellectual property
Intellectual property in the Service and related software, UI, documentation, trademarks, and marks belongs to Swaymoon or lawful rights holders. Without permission, you must not copy, modify, distribute, or use them for purposes not allowed by these Terms.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law:
- We are not liable for consequences of delayed or incorrect status information, or failed third-party mail delivery
- For interruption or loss caused by force majeure or causes beyond our reasonable control, we disclaim liability to the extent the law allows
- The Service is provided free of charge; our liability to you is limited to the minimum the law allows, except for intentional misconduct or gross negligence
10. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms. Revised Terms will be published in Docs with an updated date. For material changes, we will give notice in a reasonable way. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of mainland China (excluding conflict-of-law rules). Disputes arising from these Terms should first be resolved amicably; if that fails, they shall be submitted to a people’s court with jurisdiction where we are located.
